  1. Cross-Border Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage legal and regulatory risks associated with cross-border operations.
    Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including data protection laws, anti-money laundering (AML) requirements, and financial regulations.
    Oversee the implementation of risk mitigation strategies and policies across different jurisdictions.
  2. Compliance Oversight: Develop and enforce compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
    Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of compliance programs and address any gaps or issues.
    Stay updated on changes in regulations and industry trends, and proactively adjust policies and procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in legal and compliance roles, with a significant portion in the web3, blockchain, or decentralized finance sectors.
  • Proven track record of managing complex cross-border legal and regulatory issues.
