Job description:

We are looking for a IT Security Solution Consultant to assist in the pre and post sales of IT security solution in the enterprise and Government space.

The candidate must be willing to station in Singapore.

The candidate is expected to pick up and learn new products with formal and informal training but from product vendors.

The candidate is expected to provide solution proposals that meet customer requirements. A strong foundation in IT security, system and network is highly desirable.

The candidate must be willing to work in both pre-sales and post-sales role.

The candidate must be willing to travel regionally.


Background requirements:

- Demonstrable capabilities in IT security, system and networking.

Technical

1. Understanding of various security solutions such as Firewall, IDS, IPS, APT, SIEM

2. Technical competence in IT security (E.g. Firewall, IDS, authentication, PKI, malware)

3. Technical competence in networking (E.g. TCP/IP, routing, DNS)

4. Technical competence in Windows OS (E.g. administrator experience, including Active Directory, GPO )

5. Knowledge in Microsoft Windows , and Linux OS, Wireshark, VMWare

6. Technical competence in Linux/Unix OS (E.g. administrator experience, comfortable using command line)

Soft Skills

7. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision

8. Strong analytical and problem solving skills

9. Eager to learn, practice and implement new solution sets.

10. Good team player and know how to work alone, remote as well as in a team with different members across ASEAN.
