Responsibilities

  • Assist Facilities Manager / Senior Manager in liaising with client on all works.
  • To ensure the maintenance programs and rectification jobs are manage by a Team of technical officers and technicians efficiently.
  • Ensure and oversee maintenance activities for ACMV systems, including chiller system, chilled water system, DX system, mechanical ventilation system, clean room system, negative and positive room system, building management system and etc.
  • Creating and develop plan on installation, maintenance, and operation of ACMV systems.
  • Advice and lead the technical investigations for rectification works.
  • Responsible for the daily AC thermal comfort are within acceptable limit as per code of practice.
  • Tracking & reporting for maintenance work, follow-up on actions, and maintain maintenance checklists and schedules.
  • Implement efficiency improvement on the operational process, innovating and implementing systems improvement on energy conservation.
  • Provide excellent service to meet client expectations.
  • Providing feasible solution and coordinate with owners / users, consultants, vendors / contractors on engineering functional requirements and ensure the objectives are achieved.
  • Conduct regular inspection of existing air-conditioning system to ensure that all maintenance programme(s) are implemented effectively in strict compliance with instructions and guidelines.
  • To provide ACMV technical specifications for upgrade or renovation work when required.
  • Familiar with local codes of practice, including but not limited to ASHRAE standards.
  • To ensure all works carried out safely and / or in accordance with safety procedures.
  • Liaise with contractors for rectification and/or ad-hoc works.
  • Investigate, analyse and determine root cause and report breakdowns and faults effectively.
  • Prepare technical reports and proposals on breakdowns.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 Years of experience in ACMV Trade or Facilities Management or project management.
  • Able to guide and troubleshoot ACMV faults.
  • Good communication skills and positive mindset.
  • Meticulous, self-motivated, self-discipline, good communication skills and well-organized; and has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour.
