Job Description:

The Director of Marketing, Communications & Partnerships reports to the Executive Director and collaborates closely with board members and stakeholders. This role involves developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives and cultivating partnerships with potential collaborators and donors to enhance fundraising efforts and achieve meaningful outcomes for beneficiaries. Additionally, the Director will oversee communication strategies and branding initiatives, ensuring a cohesive brand image and consistent messaging across all platforms. This position is crucial for driving awareness and engagement, ultimately supporting the organization's mission and goals.


Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing
Work with the Education Services team to create and implement branding and marketing strategies.

Strategic Communications
Design and execute effective communication strategies to oversee corporate branding, media relations, fundraising, and other engagement initiatives.

Fundraising & Donor Engagement
Build and manage a portfolio of potential donors to support the long-term financial sustainability of the organization.

Partnership Management
Lead efforts to identify, cultivate, and manage strategic partnerships with external stakeholders.

Volunteer Management
Oversee project management for corporate events.

Budgeting & Resource Management
Manage budgeting and resource allocation effectively.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in a relevant professional field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the social service sector, non-profit organizations, community outreach, partnership development, or fundraising.
  • Proven track record in creating community impact and engaging with vulnerable populations or beneficiaries.
  • Strategic, innovative, articulate, and self-motivated—a proactive achiever.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of crafting compelling messages for pitching to donors and prospects. Excellent written and presentation skills are a plus.
  • Leadership abilities to influence, guide, and mobilize team members to deliver high-quality service.
  • Capable of working independently while also being a collaborative team player with internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in networking with government agencies, churches, and community partners.
