Job Description

Responsibilities:
Assist in all legal, contractual, dispute, compliance, corporate governance, and all other matters
within the Legal & Compliance Department of the Company. Key responsibilities include, but
not limited to:--
• Reviewing and advising commodities (oil, gas, petrochemical) trading contracts;
• Reviewing and advising General Terms and Conditions of Oil majors and counterparties;
• Handling shipping and chartering related contracts and matters;
• Advising on banking facilities agreements (including trade financing);
• Drafting and reviewing all other contracts within the Company;
• Preparing and drafting internal legal bulletins and updates;
• Conducting legal research, writing reports and performing legal administrative or
supporting tasks as required.


Requirements:
• Bachelor’ s or Master’ s Degree in Law from universities in Singapore, the UK, or
other common law countries;
• At least 1-3 years working experience in law firms or in-house legal teams, with a
background of trading, shipping and/or general litigation;
• A strong ethical work attitude, with diligence in carrying out all tasks assigned by the
General Manager of Legal & Compliance;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin to coordinate and provide legal support for
work related to Mandarin-speaking counterparts.
