Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and responsible Floater Team Leader to join our dynamic team at [Company Name], a leading cleaning service provider. The Floater Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing various cleaning teams at different client sites, ensuring operations run smoothly, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. This role requires flexibility, strong leadership skills, and the ability to adapt to different client needs and environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership and Supervision:Lead and supervise cleaning teams at various client locations, providing guidance and ensuring tasks are performed according to company standards.
    Step in and manage teams during staff absences or high-demand periods, ensuring continuity of service.
    Provide leadership, motivation, and support to team members, ensuring they meet performance expectations.
  2. Quality Control and Inspection:Conduct regular inspections of cleaning work to ensure high-quality standards are maintained.
    Address any issues or discrepancies with the cleaning quality immediately, providing feedback and corrective action when necessary.
    Implement and maintain checklists and procedures to ensure consistent and effective cleaning operations.
  3. Client Interaction:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients when overseeing cleaning teams at their locations, addressing any concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
    Communicate with clients to understand their needs and ensure services are tailored to meet expectations.
    Resolve any complaints or issues with professionalism and tact.
  4. Staff Training and Development:Train new staff members on company cleaning standards, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
    Mentor and coach team members, providing ongoing support and performance feedback.
    Ensure all team members are adhering to proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
  5. Scheduling and Coordination:Ensure cleaning teams are scheduled appropriately to cover all client needs, particularly during peak periods or when other staff are unavailable.
    Coordinate with the operations team to make adjustments to schedules and staffing levels as needed.
    Ensure the availability of cleaning supplies and equipment at all job sites, reporting any issues or shortages to management.
  6. Health and Safety Compliance:Ensure that all cleaning operations adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
    Monitor and enforce the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure the safety of all staff members.
    Conduct periodic safety audits to identify potential risks or hazards at job sites and take corrective action as needed.
  7. Administrative Duties:Maintain records of team performance, job completions, and any client feedback.
    Report any incidents, accidents, or operational issues to management in a timely manner.
    Help with the preparation of weekly or monthly reports on team performance and operational outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the cleaning industry, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and work at different client locations.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in machine cleaning.
  • Experience in customer service or client-facing roles.
  • Knowledge of cleaning industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Certification or training in safety or cleaning best practices is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
  • Frequent travel to different client locations, with some local or regional travel as necessary.
  • Physically capable of performing cleaning tasks and managing team activities at various sites.

Gross salary up to S$2500.00
