Roles & Responsibilities

Company overview: Boroo Pte Ltd is parent company of a metals and mining group with mines located in Latin America and North Asia. In Singapore, it operates as the operational HQ and Precious Metal Dealer regulated under Ministry of Law.

Location: Singapore

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Group Accountant overseeing monthly financial close, group consolidations, financial audits, and compliance reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in accounting principles, consolidation accounting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Close & Reporting:

  • Monthly financial close of Head Office's accounting books.
  • Assist with annual ECI and tax filing.
  • Support the annual company-level and group audits.

Consolidation & Budgeting:

  • Perform monthly consolidation of Group Financials.
  • Manage the annual consolidation of the Group Budget.
  • Prepare monthly group management reports for stakeholders.

Others:

  • Assist in compliance activities, including customer due diligence and semi-annual returns.
  • Maintain ERP/EPM systems to support accurate financial reporting and consolidation.
  • Ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

· Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

· Good knowledge of accounting principles and international financial reporting standards.

· Strong experience in consolidation accounting, intercompany eliminations, financial reporting and analysis.

· Experience in accounting for M&A and business combination activities preferred.

· Proficiency in accounting software and consolidation tools.

Qualifications & Skills

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA or CA Certification.

· Strong analytical and communication skills.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment
