Jobresponsibilities

• Participateactively in hands-on tasks related to database migration andadministration, including writing and optimizing queries, as wellas managing complex procedures.

• Executedatabase migrations with minimal downtime for large and complexdatabases, addressing both homogeneous and heterogeneousenvironments.

• Provide database consultingservices to the internal customer base across all business lineswithin the firm.

• Foster strong relationshipsand act as a trusted advisor to application development teams,empowering them to expedite cross-cloud modernization efforts andachieve successful outcomes.

• Collaborateclosely with database product engineers and database support toprovide an integrated service and seamless experience for internalapplication developers.

• Demonstrate initiativeto progress across multiple simultaneous assignments, ranging fromsmall to large scale.

• Considerupstream/downstream data and systems or technicalimplications.

Requiredqualifications, capabilities, andskills

• Bachelor's Degree inComputer Science or equivalent

• Minimum 3 yearsof experience, or equivalent expertise, in troubleshooting,resolving, and supporting Oracle databases, as well as providingsupport for AWS RDS (Amazon Relational DatabaseService)

• Strong knowledge of one or moreinfrastructure disciplines such as hardware, networkingterminology, oracle cloud, databases, storage engineering,deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience,and performance assessments

• Strong knowledgein AWS RDS and Oracle database architecture andadministration

• Expertise on at least one ofthe following database technology - AWS RDS, AWS Aurora Postgres,Oracle Exadata, Postgres, Cassandra, Databricks,Snowflake

• Knowledge of implementation ofdatabase backup and recovery procedures using Oracle RMAN, ZDLRAappliances

• Experience in performing databasetuning and optimize queries and stored procedures in AWS and RDSdatabases

• Understanding in Data migration,data streaming tooling (e.g. Oracle Goldengate or Pentaho),database security, and encryption practices

•Basic experience with Unix systems and shellscripting

• Passion in developing infrastructureengineering knowledge of additional domains, data fluency, andautomation knowledge

• Experience with multiplecloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrateacross public and privateclouds
