Job in a Nutshell

The studio housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, welcoming, and hygienic environment for all clients. This role ensures that the studio space, including the practice rooms, restrooms, shower amenities and common areas, are consistently kept clean and well-maintained.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Vacuum and mop floors in all studio areas, including the patio area.
  • Clean and sanitize yoga mats, props, and equipment after each class or as needed.
  • Wipe down all surfaces including doors, mirrors, counters, and windows.
  • Clean all furniture, studio fixtures (interior and exterior), including light fixtures, air vents, studio ceiling fans (reachable height).
  • Deep clean of toilets, shower cubicles and amenities, including shower fittings, ventilation vents in the areas.
  • Ensure all amenities and supplies are adequately replenished
  • Empty of rubbish bins.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the store/back of house area.

Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning experience preferred, especially in a similar setting (e.g., gyms, spas).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable attitude.
  • Physically fit.

Work Schedule:

  • 5 day work week, including 1 day during the weekend (Sat or Sun), 7hr shift.
