Roles & Responsibilities

Your role

Part of the GWM COO APAC team, you will provide advisory on outsourcing process and maintain active oversight on the bank’s outsourcing initiatives. You will also work on post-merger integration activities.

You will work closely with stakeholders in APAC and Europe to address banking related activities in a complex operating and regulatory environment.

You will understand the strategic goals and priorities of the organization, work across teams to deliver changes, perform Run the Bank activities, and improve the bank's operations to better serve our clients.

We seek someone who is versatile and can tackle a variety of business and system challenges, is strong in stakeholder management via effective communication and collaboration skills, and can problem-solve with analytical thinking, careful planning and effective execution.

You think critically, act strategically and practically to deliver the outcome.

You will bring operational excellence and expertise to the table, acquire and build on industry and organizational knowledge, and with subject matter expertise you are able to lead the organization to tackle complex challenges and changes.

Your team

GWM COO is a pillar of the UBS Wealth Management business. The function is responsible for ensuring efficiency, effectiveness and resiliency of our platform. The Platform Oversight team monitors and improves service quality & platform stability via coordination of various governance structures.

Your expertise

  • Minimum of 8-12 years of banking, financial services, consulting or project management experiences
  • Good understanding of the bank’s internal processes and systems, ideally within UBS
  • Knowledge in regulatory environment and operational risks in the banking sector
  • You have expertise in some of the following topics: outsourcing governance, post-merger integration, process optimization
  • Highly organized and can prioritize among multiple responsibilities
