Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the opening and closing of facilities.
  • Conduct daily routine checks of all facilities and equipment, including alarm systems, lighting, air conditioning & equipment, etc.
  • Liaise with cleaning or IT supervisor and/or relevant departments on any cleanliness, breakdown matters or access card system. Upon approval, arrange for maintenance or repair works when needed.
  • Monitor the proper usage of facilities and equipment.
  • Advise users against improper usage of facilities and report any misuse to Team Lead or Campus Security.
  • Manage the issuance of access cards to the facilities based on the internal bookings in the shared folder.
  • Oversee and maintain door access controls (keys and access cards).
  • Schedule and conduct daily routine check of all facilities
  • Work with relevant department on maintenance scheduling and fault reporting.
  • Prepare necessary inspection reports monthly.
  • Conduct monthly inspection on sports fixtures by a certified Facility Management personnel.

  • Provide access to sports facilities during monthly checks on air-conditioning/fans systems, alarm systems, indoor lighting, flooring, doors and windows, rectification works, etc.
  • Conduct routine and regular checks of all equipment, inclusive of changing the sports accessories.
  • Maintain and manage loan inventories.
  • Work with respective department and external vendors for calling of quotations and/or arrange for maintenance/repair works when needed.
  • Monitor/advise the proper usage of facilities & equipment and report any misuse.
  • Liaise with cleaning or IT supervisor and/or relevant departments on any cleanliness and breakdown matters and upon approval, arrange for maintenance or repair works when needed.
  • Assist to evacuate users from outdoor sports facilities during inclement weather.
  • Abide with the Workplace, Safety & Health (WSH) regulations and Safety SOPs.
  • Participate in the Department’s table-top and scenario-based exercises such as fire drills/emergency.
  • Conduct inspections of all facilities room and provide reports of inspections.
  • Work with relevant departments on maintenance scheduling and fault reporting.
  • Prepare inspection report when necessary.
  • Arrange and keep track of maintenance/repair works arising from the inspections.

Requirement

  • Minimum Nitec in any field
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in facilities and operation management
  • Candidate must be comfortable to handle manual logistic work between floors without lift access and may weigh up to 10 kilos.
  • Experience in writing of simple report
  • Confident in working with minimum supervision
  • Comfortable in using of MS office application
