Job Description

  • Client Interaction: Assist walk-in applicants and clients applying for personal loans. This includes explaining loan options, terms, and the application process.
  • Loan Eligibility Assessment: Verify the eligibility of loan applicants, including a thorough evaluation of their creditworthiness based on financial history, current income, and credit reports.
  • Repayment Management: Monitor loan repayments, manage billing schedules, and address any issues related to late payments or defaults.
  • Customer Service: Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all loan processing activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all loan transactions and applicant information.
  • Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell other financial products and services to existing and potential clients.

The Successful Applicant

  • Extensive knowledge of back-office operations.
  • Familiarity with regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Understanding of AML, terrorist financing, and operational risk issues.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin for consultations with Chinese-speaking customers.
  • Preferably a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in loan sales or operations.
