JOB DESCRIPTION

As the designer, you will work closely with the creative director, to create irresistible consumer experiences that drive conversations and conversion. The candidate will have to develop crafted and engaging designs in a beautiful environment. Coming from brands/agencies, you will give shape to your outstanding ideas within the challenging frame of merchandising, corporate and retail projects.


MAIN DUTIES

  • Responsible for creative excellence on projects from conceptualization to execution
  • Work with the interior design team to develop design solutions
  • Research concepts and materials to support the design team on technical issues influencing concept development
  • Provide strategic thinking and analysis for a project being proposed
  • Prepare and participate in client presentations
  • Propose furniture, materials, decor, and finishes
  • Attend site meetings, supervise sites, coordinates project progress, and ensure delivery of the project on schedule
  • Remains up-to-date and knowledgeable about home furnishing, retailing, and trends in order to generate creative directions that inspire and present client with strong visual impressions
  • Lead and manage projects with the team from conception to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.


EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

  • A Candidate must possess at least Certification/Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in design/ shopper engagement, preferably in the APAC region is required for this position
  • Professional knowledge in space planning and conceptual design
  • Extensive knowledge of design detailing and construction methodology
  • Creative mindset and knowledge of all phases of Interior Design projects
  • Good team player with the ability to work both independently and team-based environment, with a good sense of urgency and time management to meet tight deadlines
  • Able to keep up with a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects
  • Positive working attitude, self-motivated & hardworking
  • Able to share ideas through sketches & 3D modeling
  • Presentation skills and attention to details with an eye for design
  • Fluency in English
  • Required Skills(s): AutoCAD, Sketchup, Vray, Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Vectorworks, 3Dsmax knowledge is an added advantage
