Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

  • Ensures that all operations conform to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) requirements and maintains high safety standards.
  • Drives ‘Emergency’ vehicles.
  • Maintains safety and fire fighting equipment.
  • Renders support service for provision of safety and fire equipment onboard vessel.
  • Comply with all statutory requirements as well as in-house Health, Safety & Environmental programme.
  • Report all sub-standard conditions, equipments, practices and incompatible work processes.
  • Report all injuries, however minor and near misses to their supervisors.
  • Use all the required Personal Protective Equipment provided to them.
  • Participate in all planned HSEQ programmes.
  • Any other associated tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Good application of the various types of hand tools for the repair and maintenance of safety and fire fighting equipment. Sound knowledge of the various fire fighting and rescue equipment.
  • Other features of job (shift or night work, travel, working conditions etc.):
  • Prepared to work late hours during weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
  • Good driving skills. Good knowledge of Singapore traffic laws and roads. Knowledge of first-aid.
  • Minimum primary education with relevant working experience
  • With at least 2 years’ driving experience of emergency vehicles such as fire trucks or ambulance.
  • Must possess valid class 4 driving license
