Roles & Responsibilities

Overview of Role:

  • The Treasury Group (TG) in our Singapore branch is responsible for managing the branch’s investment portfolio, overseeing Asset and Liability Management (ALM), and ensuring effective Liquidity Management to support our core business activities.
  • We are currently looking for a Senior Officer/Officer to join the team providing key support in ALM, liquidity management and operational supports including Investment portfolio management for the group.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor the branch's liquidity position ensuring smooth cash flow operations by executing various money market transactions.
  • Provide loan/deposit rates quotes to both internal and external counterparties to support business needs and maintain competitive positioning.
  • Conduct monitoring and analysis financial markets ensuring the branch adhere to MAS liquidity regulations.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with money market counterparties, participating in business trip as necessary to strengthen these connections and expand the branch’s network.
  • Perform KYC due diligence on counterparties to ensure compliance and mitigate risk exposure.
  • Accurately enter transactions (money markets and investment products etc.) into our internal systems and support the investment team.
  • Compile various reports, such as position, markets and financial reports.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the banking sector, specifically in ALM/Liquidity management.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, particularly in money market products (e.g., Interbank cash trades, Repo and FX).
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
  • Independent and a team player with good interpersonal skill are required to engage diverse team of stakeholders across different group in the branch, and unit or division in Head Office.
  • Preferably with FMRP certification.
