Roles & Responsibilities

This position reports to the Director.Marketing manager is responsible for analyzing market trends, developing effective marketing strategies, and executing promotional campaigns to drive sales of a variety of goods. They collaborate with suppliers, distributors, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth trading process and maintain strong relationships within the industry. By monitoring performance metrics and staying abreast of market developments, they continually optimize marketing efforts to maximize profitability and sustain competitiveness in the trading sector.Sailing International Trading Pte Ltd is devoted to cultivating a culture centered around employees, focused on high performance, and underscored by values of empowerment, quality, continuous improvement, and the ongoing recruitment and development of an exceptional workplace.


Job Description

Individual to be involved in:
1. Lead market analysis to identify consumer trends and competitive landscape within duty-free wholesale trade.
2. Develop and execute targeted marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive sales in the duty-free retail sector.
3. Manage supplier relationships to ensure availability and quality of products for retail distribution.
4. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all marketing activities.
5. Monitor performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make data-driven optimizations.
6. Play a pivotal role in maintaining the company's competitive edge and maximizing profitability in the duty-free retail market.


Job Requirements

1. Proficiency in market analysis tools and techniques to effectively assess consumer behavior and industry trends.
2. Strong strategic planning skills to develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills for managing relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
4. In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the duty-free retail sector.
5. Analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis tools to monitor performance metrics and derive actionable insights.
6. Proven ability to drive results and adapt strategies based on market dynamics to maintain competitiveness and maximize profitability.
