Job Description:

Our client is a premier Wealth Management Services firm committed to delivering exceptional investment solutions while fostering an innovative and inclusive work environment. As a high-performing organization, they are now seeking an experienced, strategic Head of People and Talent Management to lead the development and execution of our talent strategy. The Head of People and Talent Management will be responsible for leading the firm's talent strategy, from recruitment and onboarding to employee development and retention. This role will work closely with the senior leadership team to create a high-performance culture, guide organizational development, and implement talent management practices that support the firm's goals. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, deep HR expertise, and a passion for developing people to their highest potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Strategy Development:
    Lead the creation and execution of a talent management strategy that aligns with the firm's long-term business goals, ensuring a robust pipeline of talent to support organizational growth and success.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding:
    Drive talent acquisition efforts, ensuring the firm attracts top-tier candidates who align with the company's values and objectives. Oversee the onboarding process to ensure seamless integration of new hires into the firm.
  • Learning & Development:
    Develop and implement learning and development programs to help employees grow professionally and personally. Ensure that training initiatives enhance skill development, leadership capabilities, and overall organizational performance.
  • Performance Management & Succession Planning:
    Oversee performance management processes, ensuring employees are set up for success, receive constructive feedback, and are aligned with the company's goals. Lead succession planning efforts to develop internal talent for key roles.
  • Employee Engagement & Retention:
    Foster a culture of inclusion, engagement, and employee satisfaction. Implement programs that improve employee morale, increase retention, and enhance the overall employee experience.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
    Drive DEI initiatives within the firm, ensuring that the workplace is inclusive and diverse. Partner with leadership to create policies and programs that support diverse hiring and promote an equitable work environment.
  • Organizational Development:
    Lead initiatives aimed at improving organizational structure, performance, and processes. Ensure alignment between business objectives and talent capabilities, while continuously evaluating and improving organizational effectiveness.
  • People Analytics & Reporting:
    Utilize people analytics and data-driven insights to make informed decisions related to talent management. Measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and report on key metrics to senior leadership.
  • Compensation and Benefits Strategy:
    Oversee compensation and benefits strategies to ensure the firm remains competitive in the market, while ensuring fairness, equity, and alignment with the firm's goals.
  • Employee Relations:
    Manage employee relations issues with a focus on creating a positive, transparent, and productive work environment. Ensure adherence to employment laws and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in senior HR roles, with a focus on people and talent management, preferably within the asset management or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, talent development, and performance management.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving talent acquisition strategies, employee engagement, and leadership development programs.
  • Expertise in creating and managing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Ability to collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute people strategies that align with business goals.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with HR metrics and people analytics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certification preferred).
