Anglican Preschool Services (APS) is a faith-based preschool operator and an entity of the Anglican Diocese of Singapore. We operate 18 preschools including Little Seeds Preschool and St. James’ Church Kindergarten.We seek to bridge the Church and community through high quality, values-based early childhood education. We are looking for a Centre Leader (Principal) to helm the daily operations of our centres. A Centre Leader (Principal) who develops and inspires our teaching team to deliver high quality teaching and learning for our children. A Centre Leader (Principal) who is a positive culture bearer, and leads in building a nurturing, loving and respectful environment for our educators and children.


Responsibilities:

· Helm the daily operations of the Centre

· Mentor and inspire educators to create an optimal and safe environment appropriate for the holistic development and care of the children

· Serve as our organization’s culture bearer and positive role model for the staff

· Plan, develop and implement the programme, curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment

· Continuously improve and refine the children’s learning experiences

· Establish sustainable and collaborative partnerships with our community of parents, families, and staff

· Manage the centre budget and oversee the efficient and cost-effective use of centre resources

· Ensure regulatory compliance


Requirements

· Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Leadership (ADECL) / Diploma in Pre-school Education Leadership (DPE-L) / Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Leadership (DECCE-L)

· Diploma in Pre-School Teaching, Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education or other Early Childhood Diploma Qualification(s)

· ECDA certified L2 educator

· Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a professional early childhood setting

· Preferably holds a valid first aid certificate recognized by ECDA

· Strong knowledge of early childhood curriculum, pedagogy and assessments
