Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibility

Strategic Planning:

  • Define and implement IT strategies that align with the CTPIS's long-term business goals. Maintain an IT roadmap and assess technology trends to ensure competitive advantage.

Team Leadership:

  • Build and manage a high-performing IT team, setting departmental goals and implementing performance management processes.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that promotes accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Supervise section heads to ensure efficient resource allocation and alignment with departmental objectives.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Establish frameworks for compliance with regulatory standards and manage IT risks effectively.
  • Coordinate audits and assessments to ensure adherence to policies and best practices.

Decision Support

  • Utilize data insights to support business decisions, driving operational efficiency and strategic initiatives.

Project Oversight

  • Oversee project management across IT sections, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

IT Service Management

  • Implement IT service management practices to enhance service delivery and improve user satisfaction.
  • Monitor service performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Financial Management

  • Manage the IT budget, tracking expenditures and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Develop IT procurement strategies to ensure efficient resource allocation and minimize delays.

Policy Development

  • Collaborate in developing IT policies and standards to maintain quality and compliance across all activities

Requirement

  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in FI IT management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing IT operations, strategy, and security.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and data management practices.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience in team management, talent development, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to leverage data insights to drive decisions, optimize performance, and support business objectives.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Certifications (preferred): ITIL, CISSP, CISM, PMP, or relevant industry certifications.
