Role Overview: IT Service Management (ITSM) leader with a proven track record in driving service excellence within the financial services industry

Key Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Leadership: Develops, implements, and enhances ITSM strategies, policies, and procedures to align with organizational goals.
  • Team Management: Leads an ITSM team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to foster effective service delivery.
  • Client Focus: Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs and align IT services accordingly.
  • Performance Management: Ensures adherence to agreed-upon service levels and KPIs, implementing improvement programs when necessary.
  • Process Improvement: Drives continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of ITSM processes.
  • Operational Expertise: Oversees core ITSM processes (incident, problem, change, request, configuration, knowledge management) to minimize disruptions and optimize service delivery.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensures compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices, including client policies and mandates.
  • Reporting & Communication: Chairs regular ITSM reviews, prepares reports, and effectively communicates with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • With 15-20 years of experience, including at least 10 years within a major financial institution, this candidate possesses the expertise and leadership qualities to lead and transform an organization's ITSM function. They hold a relevant bachelor's degree, with a master's degree preferred, and possess a recognized ITSM certification (e.g.,
