Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage product performance, quality, cost, and reliability throughout its lifecycle.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers worldwide.
  • Serve as a technical leader in sales and marketing activities
  • Lead the engineering team, collaborating with the R&D team and system architects to develop solutions.
  • Take charge of the project team, overseeing project proposals, timelines, specifications, and costs.
  • Review customer requirements, ensure compliance, define product acceptance criteria, and manage the acceptance process.
  • Conduct product costing analysis to meet cost targets pre and post-production.
  • Manage strategic suppliers, service providers, and contractors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Liaise with the NPI, MFG, and QA teams for equipment build and product launch preparation.
  • Collaborate with various teams, gather customer feedback, and implement product improvement programs.

Educational Requirements

  • A degree in engineering or a related discipline
  • Eight years or more of working experience in equipment development
  • Experience in product cost management skills.
