Roles & Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide guest services as well as supervision, direction and leadership in the Housekeeping Department in accordance with the objectives, performance and quality standards established
  • Oversee the Housekeeping department in Hotels
  • Analyze monthly reports and reviews opportunities for improvement
  • Prepare yearly capex proposal and expense budget
  • Implement maintenance programs for the room inventory and public areas to achieve optimal standards in quality and cleanliness
  • Establish and/or implement operating policies, procedures and standards and ensure compliance
  • Ensure control measures to manage costs to achieve budget and to constantly review the quality of amenities
  • Review staff performance and work processes, as well as recommend improvement and productivity initiatives
  • Knowledge in other areas relating to Housekeeping, such as staff uniforms, festive decorations, landscaping, florist, pest control, waste and recycling, etc.


Requirements

  • Preferably with Diploma in Hotel / Hospitality Management
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience, preferably in a five-star property
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
