Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Report to the Horticulturist on all matters pertaining to landscape (trees, palms, shrubs, groundcovers, aquatic plants) maintenance in the discharge of your duties.
  • Support in the development and implementation of an effective maintenance plan towards the proper upkeep of the landscape in and around the golf courses to international accepted standards,
  • Maintain and control an effective budget for the landscape maintenance and landscape project works.
  • Assist in administrative tasks for both Horticulture and Turf, as well as other ad-hoc duties assigned.
  • Plan, organize, schedule, deploy, train the Course Superintendent, Workshop & Equipment team (not applicable), Groundsmen and Landscape Course Supervisors.
  • Assist in Tree Inspection work throughout the property and ensure all trees are in optimum health and aesthetically pleasing.
  • Have experience in event plant display, both with real and artificial plants
  • Possess knowledge and experience in landscape and design.
  • Maintain accurate proper maintenance records and various work schedules to ensure that timely and appropriate maintenance is carried out

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Horticulture / Landscape / Biology or equivalent

Experience

  • 2 years of relevant experience in horticulture preferred

Proficient in MS Word & Excel
Possess leadership qualities with good interpersonal skill
