Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:


  • Act as a Risk Consultant for an upgrade project across IT and the business.
  • Collaborate with various IT teams, including infrastructure and other divisions, to deliver system solutions for the business.
  • Cultivate strong relationships and manage expectations with users and stakeholders.
  • Involved in building, testing, and reconciling Market Risk views and Stress Test Reports.


Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Market Risk within a Banking environment, specifically working with major financial software like Murex.
  • Proficient knowledge of Value at Risk (VaR) and stress testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Murex modules such as MRE, ERM, and Market Data configuration, as well as debugging and development.
  • Strong technical skills in tools like Bitbucket, Jira, DevOps, shell scripts, SQL, and Control-M.
  • Perform business analysis tasks related to process changes and functional requirements
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bonus skills include knowledge of MLC (Market Liquidity Coverage) and Collateral management.
