[Contract Position]

This is a contract position, convertible to a permanent role subject to the performance and divisional requirements.

This role is crucial in ensuring the effective acquisition and delivery of teaching and learning resource materials, while maintaining adherence to governance protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. The incumbent will support the management of operational and administrative functions related to procuring and delivering educational resource materials.
  2. Responsible for database management and ability to analyze data for management to make informed decisions.
  3. Able to work effectively under pressure, managing deadlines and adapting to evolving project requirements.

Inventory Management:

  • Manage the inventory and supply of educational learning resources, including curriculum textbooks and e-learning applications/licenses.
  • Coordinate distribution of resource materials to students and tutors at our learning centres.
  • Ensure accurate resource tracking and management are aligned with timelines.
  • Assist with the logistics of packing, shifting, collecting, and handing over deliveries to vendors (physical labour involved).

Procurement and Financial Management:

  • Procure educational resources by adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and complying with Financial and Procurement guidelines.
  • Demonstrate competence in procurement and supplier management.

Data Management:

  • Perform accurate data entry in the Education Management System, regularly updating student and educational resource inventory data.
  • Utilize Excel functions, pivot tables, and data visualization tools such as Power BI for data management and analysis.
  • Interpret data effectively to provide insights that support informed decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Project Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in project management and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
