Roles & Responsibilities

The Creative Director is the artistic conductor of every project. We seek an integrated copy-based problem solver with an intuitive talent for creative solutions. Approaching every brief with ambition and greatness, and never tire of pushing the work to be better, with digital and experience at the heart of everything they do. Building strong relationships with their clients, guiding them through the complexities of creative concepting, production and overseeing and inspiring multidisciplinary teams from the initial briefing to the final delivery.

How to succeed in the role:

Build Business

  • Lead briefs and conceptualize creative ideas and solutions, ensuring final deliverables meet client expectations with quality standards.
  • Conduct brainstorms with fellow members of the creative department.
  • Provide strong conceptual and strategic direction to meet client/brand objectives while building enduring brands.
  • Effectively communicate and present ideas
  • Engage in meaningful conversations with clients to build a healthy partnership
  • Stay updated on new technologies, cultural trends, and social developments to provide timely and innovative solutions
  • Support agency business through pitches

Build Profile

  • Produce high-profile, effective, and award-winning work for clients, enhancing the agency's creative reputation
  • Proactively share award-winning ideas that builds iconic brands
  • Be active in the industry as judge and potential speaking opportunities or contributing thought-leadership press
  • Provide relevant profile-building ideas that elevates the agency’s image externally

Build People

  • Collaborate with the ECD and/or CCO to uphold creative excellence
  • Mentor and guide a team of Copywriters and Junior creatives
  • Be an advocate for cross-functional department collaboration

Qualifications

  • At least 9-13 years of working experience in an advertising environment
  • Can demonstrate experience working on brand-level work in multiple markets
  • History of achieving international award recognition
  • Excellent ability to write idea-driven, ground-breaking creative work
  • Good leadership skills in guiding junior creatives
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with creative and project teams
  • Must be able to work independently or in a team
