The Role

Creative Directors lead the vision for our most ambitious work, orchestrating the best talent to conceive and deliver best-in-class advertising. The role of Creative Director empowers the team to create concepts across all mediums for products, clients across all marketing channels. Your work will influence our customers worldwide. Creative Directors set the benchmark for excellence and shape how we collectively and individually hone our craft and point of view on the world. Creative Directors design our world, creating work that matters.

As Creative Director, you will lead multi-disciplinary teams focused on directing and executing marketing campaigns and digital advertising programs. You will be a leader in our Singapore APAC hub office, responsible for creative teams and overseeing all production across the APAC region for a global travel technology brand.

Having experience in working in the APAC Region, you are familiar with and have connections in the creative community throughout the region. Your experience in localization, customization and bespoke creation for local markets is a must.

The position will offer building a world-class creative organization across many various APAC markets.


The Work

The work will involve creative leadership and oversight for a global travel technology brand. This work is primarily overseeing all APAC local market teams and work, with regionally relevant new creative work, customization/transcreation and localization for multiple global markets. The work also focuses on full funnel marketing from big brand campaigns, driving and connecting all the way through to performance and digital marketing.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the APAC region and markets within the APAC region (Singapore, India, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Australia and New Zealand).
  • Collaborates with CDs, ADs and CWs to conceptualise ideas and direct teams to produce quality work. Guides creatives to do their best work and to support each others strengths. Also collaborates closely with client Creative Teams.
  • Presents work to clients (Creatives, Brand Marketing Managers, Executives) and articulates concepts with energy and enthusiasm.
  • Works across disciplines to integrated strategies and messaging for full funnel campaign assets.
  • Works with strategists, account managers, producers and project managers to ensure that schedules are accurate and realistic and that deadlines are met.
  • Works across disciplines to integrated strategies and messaging for all marketing channels and new mediums of communication.

  • You have at least 15+ years of experience art directing, providing creative direction, concepting, and producing for major marketing, communication or advertising campaigns.

  • Proven creative advertising industry experience, specifically in programmatic creative, dynamic digital advertising for large-scale, global digital campaigns.
  • You have created work in the mediums of advertising, social media, conceptual campaigns, product launches, branding, photography, film, video, digital performance, localization/adaptation/transcreation for various global markets.
  • Experience and knowledge of performance marketing and motivated to explore new possibilities for marketing innovation.
  • Experienced in both digital campaign concept and execution of digital assets, playbooks, toolkits, guidelines and specifications.
  • Knowledge and experience working with dynamic creative optimization platforms.
  • Experience in quantitative and qualitative testing methodologies and in collaborating with strategists to synthesize results to drive new creative briefs and outcomes.
  • Passion for creating highly-effective design and copy systems based on brand or campaign guidelines.
  • Proven track record in directing and managing teams to deliver large scale advertising campaigns.
  • Confident in ability to direct and manage designers, art directors, copywriters and interdisciplinary content production teams (e.g. designers, motion designers, front-end developers, etc.).
  • Familiar with various content production processes across video, photography, motion graphics, etc.
  • Expert digital design and content technical knowledge to drive creative production excellence in partnership with producers.
  • Expert in design and creative toolsets (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.).
  • Empathic player-coach and experienced in creative career management.
  • Portfolio of world-class digital campaign work, including delivery of global campaign toolkits.
  • Experience in global or multi-national localization, customization, transcreation and bespoke in-market campaigns for locally relevancy.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end development is a plus.
