Roles & Responsibilities

  • Liaise and coordinate with both overseas and local suppliers. Oversee all purchasing activities from order placement to supplier payment.
  • Plan for accurate material quantities and manage inventory to optimal levels to support sales and production. Establish safety stock for standard items.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods from both overseas and local suppliers.
  • Manage freight costs by consolidating shipments to reduce charges and selecting the most economical mode of transport.
  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to secure more profitable deals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage warehouse operations and monitor logistics and personnel to ensure efficiency.
  • Support the development and production of new projects.
  • Expand the supply chain network and identify and establish relationships with new suppliers.
  • Administer material master lists and create production BOMs and sales BOMs using SAP.
  • Ensure supply chain processes comply with ISO and legal requirements and standards.
  • Resolve issues such as delivery delays and material shortages.
  • Train and guide employees.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in supply chain, procurement, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing supply chain operations for a manufacturing company.
  • Knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
  • Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong analytical skills, along with excellent negotiation and planning abilities.
