Roles & Responsibilities

Assisting Patent Attorneys on the following tasks:

  1. Drafting patent specifications
  2. Responding to Office Actions
  3. Prosecuting patent applications in Singapore and overseas
  4. Conducting searches
  5. Analysing and studying patent or scientific documents
  6. Providing patent-related advice to clients

Requirements

  1. A good tertiary degree in one of the fields of ICT, computer science/engineering, chemistry, biochemistry, material science, or life sciences and be a registered Singapore Patent Attorney.
  2. An advanced technical qualification (MSc or PhD) and the completion of the Graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law, Graduate Diploma in IP and Innovation Management, or a Master of IP and Innovation Management will be advantageous but not required.
  3. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to prioritise deadlines.
