This role involves analyzing existing services in collaboration with internal stakeholders to refine network structures and exploring new projects that align with the company's growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Planning & Strategy: Assist the VP of Network Planning in developing a comprehensive network strategy that aligns with the company's long-term objectives. This includes determining market coverage, service allocations, route structures, vessel deployment (size and design), cascading plans, partnerships, and potential slot exchanges or sales.
  • Operational Feasibility & Optimization: Evaluate the viability of proforma schedules, recommending adjustments such as vessel sizing, leg modifications, and port move optimizations to align with market conditions. This may involve proposing changes in sailing speed, port rotations, move counts, and vessel design.
  • Expansion & Market Development: Conduct studies to support the development of new markets and related strategic initiatives. This includes analyzing swap agreements with partners to enhance service coverage and achieve cost efficiencies.
  • Competitive Analysis & Industry Monitoring: Track competitor activities and industry trends to ensure the company's network remains competitive. Stay informed on pricing strategies, service developments, and utilization trends to support strategic decision-making.
