Hydra X provides regulatory-compliant, enterprise-ready solutions to prepare institutional clients for the future of finance. We seek to bridge the transition to a tokenised capital markets ecosystem by offering asset-agnostic solutions which allow interoperability between traditional and digital assets. Our clients include exchanges, banks, brokerages, and other financial institutions.

We are currently embarking on a significant growth plan to expand our business, and are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join us. You will be tasked to set up and deliver automated development and maintain operational environments for our deployments.

This is an opportunity to join an entrepreneurial team, focussed on innovation and building outstanding products to support the company’s overall strategy and goals.


Responsibilities:

● Oversee the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of server, storage, network, and security infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud

● Maintain and improve our CI development pipeline

● Work closely and collaborate with relevant teams to ensure that we are adopting security best practices

● Develop, execute and enforce policies for system and network administration, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity

● Ensuring the availability, performance scalability and security of production systems

● Building & releasing configuration management of production systems

● System troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains

● Building monitoring capabilities for existing systems

● Ensuring system security policies are properly remediated

● Research and propose emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency

● Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities

● Proactively identify optimization opportunities to enhance performance, security, and cost-effectiveness of systems, networks and infrastructure


Requirements:

● 4 - 8 years of experience in progressively responsible roles in system, network, and infrastructure design and management

● BS/MS Degree in any relevant major (e.g. IT, Computer Science, etc) OR a proven track record in similar roles

● Hands-on experience in running and managing production systems on premise and on cloud infrastructure

● Strong fundamental knowledge of UX based platform and bash scripting

● Good understanding of networking concepts. VPC, network segmentation, ingress-egress configuration, VPN connection

● Good understanding of various virtualization and containerization technologies

● Strong command of English, both verbally and in writing


Good to have:

● Cloud infrastructure related certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)

● Hands-on experience with Grafana’s LGTM stack

● Keen interest and knowledge of trading, blockchain, or digital asset tokenization

● Experience in supporting certification audits (ISO, SOC2, etc)
