About Us

Bright Point Capital Pte Ltd is a Registered Fund Management Company in Singapore regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). We are currently looking to expand our team for one of our funds, Theme International Trading. Theme International Trading is a Singapore collective investment fund that invests and trades in listed financial instruments to achieve high risk-adjusted returns.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders across different trading desks to understand their data requirements and translate them into actionable data-driven insights.

2. Design, develop and maintain the organization’s data architecture, including data pipelines, databases, and data warehouses.

3. Apply statistical techniques or machine learning algorithms to analyse large financial datasets, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.

4. Create compelling visualizations or dashboards to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field

2. Minimum 2 years of experience in data platforms, data analytics or related projects.

3. Strong in SQL and Python scripting

4. Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis and strong knowledge of Python analysis packages, such as: NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, scikit-learn

5. Excellent data visualization skills and experience with Python packages such as Matplotlib, seaborn or similar package

6. Plus but not required: Familiar with financial trading domain knowledge, such as stock, futures and options
