Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

•Plan, schedule, and oversee renovation projects from start to finish.

•Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.

•Monitor project progress and address any delays or issues.

•Review and modify structural designs to ensure safety and compliance with building codes.

•Provide technical advice on materials, techniques, and construction methods suitable for renovations.

•Prepare cost estimates and budgets for renovation works.

•Conduct on-site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.

•Oversee demolition, retrofitting, and structural reinforcement activities.

•Ensure proper implementation of health and safety standards on-site.

•Ensure all renovation works meet local regulations and building codes.

•Inspect completed work to confirm structural integrity and functionality.

•Address any defects or rework requirements promptly.

•Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.

•Provide regular updates on project status, budgets, and timelines.

•Prepare and submit detailed reports and documentation for all project phases.



Requirements:

•Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

•Relevant professional certifications or licenses (e.g., PE or equivalent).

•3-5 years of experience in construction, specifically in renovation or retrofitting projects.

•Proven track record of managing renovation projects from start to finish.

•Strong knowledge of construction materials, structural engineering principles, and renovation techniques.

•Proficiency in design and project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, SAP2000, Primavera, or MS Project).

•Ability to analyze and solve structural and design challenges.

•Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

•Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

•Effective communication and leadership abilities.

•Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.

•Willingness to visit construction sites regularly and adapt to on-site challenges.
