Roles & Responsibilities

Project Analyst

You will be responsible for driving internal communication and engagement initiatives, monitoring key performance indicators, overseeing administrative activities, and supporting governance mechanisms. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in developing comprehensive business plans, managing projects, and analysing data to drive strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of the department's internal communication and engagement plan, including organizing meetings, forums, and events.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Monitor key performance indicators to assess business and operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day administrative activities with the support of the Executive Assistant.
  • Assist in the orchestration and delivery of governance mechanisms to support departmental operations.
  • Contribute to the development and management of business plans, including financial projections, budgeting, and risk assessments.
  • Provide leadership in project management, monitoring progress across the departmental portfolio, and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Proven experience in strategy development, business management, and financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Project management experience, including leading cross-functional teams to successful project completion.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software for strategic decision support.
  • Adaptability, creativity, and strategic thinking to thrive in a dynamic business environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and JIRA.
  • Independent and highly motivated team player with a positive work attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience within a technology function of a financial services firm is preferred.
