Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Systems Engineer (Digital Workspace) with expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and End-User Device Management. This role will be responsible for deploying, securing, and managing end-user devices, authentication systems, and collaboration tools across the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Okta, Google Workspace, and Zoom.

Key Responsibilities:

Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM)

Device Deployment & Configuration:

  • Plan and execute deployment of end-user devices (desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices).
  • Configure and maintain device images while ensuring security and performance compliance.

Device Security & Compliance:

  • Implement security policies and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage patching and updates to mitigate vulnerabilities.

Endpoint Management:

  • Utilize endpoint management tools for inventory, remote monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.

Software Management:

  • Oversee deployment, updates, and license management for OS and applications.
  • Ensure software compliance and licensing best practices.

User Support & Training:

  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for end-user devices.
  • Develop training materials and documentation for efficient device management.

Asset Management:

  • Maintain a comprehensive inventory of end-user devices.
  • Track device lifecycle and recommend upgrades or replacements.

Performance Optimization:

  • Implement strategies for device performance tuning and monitoring.
  • PowerShell Scripting:
  • Automate device management tasks using PowerShell for improved operational efficiency.
  • Okta Identity & Access Management (IAM)

Authentication & Access Control:

  • Configure authentication flows, adaptive MFA, and role-based access control.
  • Set up factor enrollments, sign-on policies, and application policies.

Security & Compliance:

  • Implement IAM security best practices to ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Manage access control, authentication, and authorization configurations.

Integration & Customization:

  • Integrate enterprise applications using SAML, OAuth, and OIDC.
  • Conduct business use case analysis and implement proof of concepts (POCs) in Okta.

User Support & Training:

  • Provide IAM-related troubleshooting and technical support.
  • Maintain documentation and conduct user training sessions.

Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Monitor Okta performance and generate reports on IAM usage.

Google Workspace Administration

Administration & Security:

  • Manage Google Workspace user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
  • Enforce security policies to protect data and ensure compliance.
  • Configure Google Workspace services like Gmail, Drive, and Calendar.

User Support & Training:

  • Troubleshoot and support Google Workspace-related issues.
  • Conduct training sessions on best practices.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Monitor usage, optimize performance, and generate reports for leadership.

Zoom Administration

Account & Security Management:

  • Configure and manage Zoom user accounts, roles, and security settings.
  • Enforce security best practices, including encryption and access control.

User Support & Training:

  • Provide Zoom technical support for video, audio, meeting setup, and integrations.
  • Develop training materials for effective Zoom usage.

Integration & Customization:

  • Integrate Zoom with collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).
  • Customize settings for optimal workflow and compliance.

Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Track Zoom performance, usage trends, and generate reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5-10 years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM), End-User Device Management, and IT support.
  • Expertise in managing Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.
  • Strong knowledge of endpoint security, compliance, and best practices.

Experience with:

  • Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune, SCCM)
  • Okta Identity & Access Management
  • Active Directory (AD) & Azure AD
  • Google Workspace Administration
  • Zoom for Enterprise
  • Knowledge of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC) and identity security frameworks.
  • Experience in PowerShell scripting and API automation.
