Position Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven individual to join our team as the Head of Strategic Deals. Based in Singapore and reporting to the Chief Markets Officer, this role will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and executing strategic partnerships and deals to drive business growth and expansion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnerships and Deal Structuring: Identify and evaluate potential strategic partners and alliances in the cryptocurrency ecosystem, including exchanges, liquidity providers, technology providers, and other key stakeholders.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, providing insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.
- Deal Execution: Oversee the end-to-end deal execution process, including due diligence, legal and financial analysis, documentation, and integration planning, ensuring timely and successful completion of transactions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including trading, legal, compliance, finance, and technology, to assess deal feasibility, mitigate risks, and drive successful implementation.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor the performance and impact of strategic deals, analyzing key metrics and KPIs to measure success and identify areas for optimization and improvement.
- Thought Leadership: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums, sharing insights and best practices to enhance the company's reputation and visibility in the market.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, corporate development, or related roles, preferably in the financial services or in crypto trading.
- Proven track record of identifying, negotiating, and executing complex strategic deals and partnerships, with a focus on driving business growth and creating value.
- Deep understanding of the cryptocurrency market ecosystem, including exchanges, trading platforms, liquidity providers, and regulatory dynamics.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and negotiation skills, with the ability to structure and evaluate deals from both a strategic and financial perspective.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus among internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a high degree of adaptability, resilience, and willingness to take initiative.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages such as Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean is a plus.
