Roles & Responsibilities

  • Production Planning & Execution: Develop, implement, and refine production schedules to meet customer demand. Oversee all processing stages (portioning, curing, cooking, packaging, etc.), ensuring consistency and efficiency.
  • Food Safety & Quality Assurance: Champion a culture of safety and quality, rigorously enforcing HACCP, FSSC/SFA/HALAL, and other regulatory standards. Lead quality control initiatives and resolve non-conformances.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, train, and motivate production and kitchen staff. Set clear expectations, communicate effectively, and promote professional development.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously analyze production and kitchen processes to identify bottlenecks, increase yields, reduce waste, and drive overall efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement for optimal raw material sourcing, quality control for product testing, and R&D for new product development or process improvements.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Maintain meticulous records for traceability, compliance, and production reporting. Stay updated on the latest industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in production management within the meat processing or food production industry.
  • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field is an asset.
  • Demonstrated expertise in food safety standards (HACCP, FSSC/SFA/HALAL or equivalents).
  • Proven track record in production planning, process optimization, and yield improvement.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to build and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
