coordinating activitiespertaining to the day-to-day support of the data centers andcritical facilities. He/She is responsible for troubleshooting,managing the vendors/contractors and report to the Data CenterOperation SiteLead.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of contractors or vendors and support in thedaily data centre operations
  • Perform datacentre operations and inspections including monitoring andmanagement for infrastructure systems, DC environment andfacilities
  • Monitor critical facilities andinfrastructure system alerts and perform necessaryescalation
  • Perform incident management andescalation pertaining to any facilities and systemdowntime
  • Manage and administer the servicedesk operations
  • Ensure the implementation ofsafe systems on site activities.
  • Liaison withthe client BUs in regard to utilities, building services /facilities and systems issues
  • Assist in theplanning and execution of disaster recovery activities
  • Administer and ensure building records, licenses, permitand etc are properly documented.
  • Ensureprocedures, processes and service level are being followed for anyservice delivery and operations
  • Periodicreview of the data centre operations and report any gaps andissues
  • Prepare and update of Data Centre andService Desk monthly report
  • Maintain the siteasset database, provide updates in accordance with CMMSrequirements.


Education& Experience:

  • Possess a Diploma in Facilities Maintenance/ Electrical/Mechanical engineering.
  • Possess Data CentreCertifications such as Certified Data CentreProfessional
  • Possess at least 3 years'experience in Data Centre Operations, Facilities Monitoring &Management
  • Familiar with Data Centrefacilities including Computer Room Air-Con (CRAC), fire suppressionsystem, water detection system, Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS)and etc
  • Familiar with Service Desk operationsand incident management process
  • Basicunderstanding on the operation of MEP systems
  • Resourceful, analytical and problem solvingskill
  • Good communications and interpersonalskills
