Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Supervisor to lead and manage our aluminium and metal work department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, production, and installation processes, ensuring high-quality standards, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of projects. This role requires a deep understanding of aluminium and metal fabrication, strong leadership abilities, and excellent project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the technical aspects of aluminium and metalwork projects, including design, fabrication, and installation

- Run and manage the fabrication, assembly and installation of aluminium, glass and metal works.

- Prepare materials, quantity take off and fabrication cutting list

- Prepare necessary shop drawings if needed

- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and clients.

- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.

- Monitor the production, installation and quality control

- Must be able to communicate effectively with all relevant parties involved in project (clients, architects, co-workers, supervisors) in both written and verbal form

- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and implement them in the department.

Requirements

- Bachelor's/ Diploma degree in civil engineering related field.

- Proven experience (5+ years) in a technical management role within the aluminium and metalwork industry.

- Strong knowledge of aluminium and metal fabrication techniques, materials, and industry standards.

- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant technical tools.

- Proficiency in Excel.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards in the metalwork industry.
