Job Description & Requirements

SCOPE OF WORK

Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements

ARC, MIG and TIG weld steel, aluminium and stainless steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or

drawings

Produce templates and other work aids

Set up welding cells for serial production runs

Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.

Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.

Follow, create and help maintain Welding Procedure Specifications

Weld parts in flat, vertical, and/or overhead positions

Assemble items as instructed by floor supervisor

Follow all company rules and policies

REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience as welder (minimum 3G)

Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, callipers etc.)

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings

Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (ARC, MIG, TIG etc.)

Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (coverall, face-shield, apron, gloves etc.)

3. KEYSCOPE OF WORK
