Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Establishment Indoor Cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation within our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in cleaning a variety of surfaces, operating cleaning equipment, and adhering to workplace safety protocols. This role is critical in ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for all occupants.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Cleaning and Sanitization:
    • Clean and sanitize a range of surfaces, including glass, wood, tile, and carpet, using appropriate tools, techniques, and cleaning agents.
    • Ensure the integrity of all surfaces while achieving a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
  2. Equipment Operation and Maintenance:
    • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and other specialized tools to ensure optimal performance.
    • Perform routine checks and maintenance on equipment to prevent malfunctions.
  3. Safe Handling of Cleaning Agents and Waste:
    • Use cleaning agents safely, including proper dilution, handling, and application, to avoid damage or hazards.
    • Follow waste disposal practices, including recycling and handling hazardous materials, while adhering to environmental and safety guidelines.
  4. Workplace Safety Compliance:
    • Follow workplace safety protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
    • Respond effectively to emergencies such as chemical spills or hazardous material exposure to ensure a safe environment.
  5. Task Planning and Prioritization:
    • Plan and prioritize cleaning duties to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
    • Inspect work areas regularly to identify and address any areas needing additional attention.
  6. High Standards of Presentation:
    • Maintain cleanliness and a professional appearance in all areas of responsibility.
    • Ensure all surfaces and spaces meet organizational standards for hygiene and visual appeal.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience in professional cleaning, preferably in commercial establishments.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques for various surfaces, including glass, wood, tile, and carpet.
  • Familiarity with operating and maintaining cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and floor buffers.
  • Understanding of safe cleaning agent usage, waste disposal practices, and hazardous material handling.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
  • Excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to inspect work for quality assurance.
