Senior Microbiologist

We are currently looking for multiple Senior Microbiologists to join us on a permanent role to help us deliver various projects in the Life Sciences Industry.

Key Attributes/Responsibilities:

• Lead and perform quality control microbiological testing of raw materials, incoming goods, intermediates, and/or finished products under cGMP conditions for QC release or stability studies.
• Lead microbiological investigations and laboratory inquiries at the site.
• Develop protocols, position papers, and risk assessments to ensure quality and compliance.
• Lead and manage method transfer, verification, and validation processes.
• Take charge of microbiological inventory management and ensure proper control.
• Lead global initiatives such as automation and business improvement projects.
• Mentor peers in the technical aspects of microbiology, providing guidance and support.
• Support site and/or global audits and inspections, ensuring all standards are met.
• Maintain and review the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of laboratory data.
• Ensure personal training records are up to date and compliant.
• Lead laboratory continuous improvement efforts, driving innovation and efficiency.
• Effectively communicate across site and global platforms to maintain consistency.
• Ensure cGMP compliance is strictly followed within your area of work.
• Collaborate with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) teams and maintain a 5S approach at all times.
• Perform any additional tasks as required by the Manager.
• Support shift work when required.
