Group Strategic Marketing & Communications is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the DBS brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the DBS Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications especially digital communications, marketing and research to differentiate - and elevate - our brand from the rest of the competition.

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Internal Communications and Branding Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our internal communication strategies and reinforcing our brand identity among employees and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing communication plans, creating engaging content, and ensuring consistent brand messaging throughout the organization.


Responsibilities:

Internal Communications:
  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies and plans to ensure effective communication of key messages and initiatives.
  • Create and distribute compelling content for various internal channels including emails, newsletters, intranet, etc.
  • Collaborate with management and other departments to gather information and craft messages that support organizational goals and employee engagement.
    Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal communication efforts and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Write, edit, and proofread a variety of communications materials including announcements, presentations, and articles.
  • Co-develop multimedia content such as videos, infographics, and podcasts to enhance internal communications.
  • Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of communication materials.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of company-wide meetings, town halls, and other events.
Branding:
  • Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines and messaging across all internal & external communications.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive brand strategies and marketing plans.
  • Plan, execute, and manage brand marketing campaigns across various channels including digital, social media, print, and events.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling content and advertising materials that align with brand guidelines.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and vendors to ensure high-quality execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Develop engaging content for various marketing platforms, including websites, social media, email marketing, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure all content reflects the brand voice and maintains a consistent brand image.
  • Track and analyze the performance of brand marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports on campaign effectiveness and ROI, providing insights and recommendations for future strategies.
  • Utilize marketing analytics tools to measure brand health and consumer engagement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field with 8 to 10 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or branding.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software).
  • Understanding of internal communication best practices and trends.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
