Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years working experience in the retail luxury industry, preferable in a jewellery field.
- Certified Gemmologist (GIA, FGA or other relevant certification) will be added advantage.
- Experience in gem identification, diamond grading. jewellery appraisal or gemological services is a plus.
Gem Identification and Grading:
- Utilize advanced gemmological instruments and techniques to accurately identify and grade
- gemstones, including diamonds, coloured gemstones and pearls
Client Consultation:
- Provide expert advice to clients on gemstone selection, care and investment.
- Assist in the selection of gemstone for jewellery design and creation
Procurement:
- Sourcing and procurement of gemstones.
- Inventory Management Maintain accurate records of gemstone inventory
- Monitor gemstone markets trends and advise on potential investments
Production:
- Coordinate with designers and workshop on new product development.
