Our client, a commodity trading house, is looking for an Trade Operations Executive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle cargo operations and vessel operations
- Manage all aspects of shipping logistics, including coordination with carriers, scheduling, and ensuring timely deliveries
- Prepare and vet sales and purchase contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Handle shipping and banking documents (L/C, B/L, invoice etc.)
- Handle recover claims and demurrage from counterparties
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any operations-related issues promptly
- Ensure that all deals are accurately inputted into the system in a timely manner
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in maritime, supply chain, or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience within a physical trading house
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Independent and able to manage priorities
