Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Management: Oversee and support company's vehicles and related accessories technology, leading efforts to champion EVs in Singapore.
  • Competitive Analysis: Survey, analyze, and evaluate competitive and comparative studies on company's technologies. Propose changes and strategies to improve product competitiveness.
  • Engineering Support: Provide engineering and technology support for managing company vehicles.
  • Standards Compliance: Review and help implement government requirements, as well as Singapore and international standards relating to automotive and electric vehicle requirements.
  • Aftersales Support: Assist in aftersales technical support, reliability assessments, and failure analysis.
  • Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate superior related to systems engineering and scope of work.

Training Responsibilities:

  • Training Development: Conduct training for company's products, technology, and regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Instruction: Deliver technical and product training courses for internal and external customers, including new model/product training for technical, sales, and workshop staff.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Attend courses locally or overseas as directed by the supervisor and deliver acquired knowledge to participants as instructed by company.

Requirement

  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical or mechanical Engineering/Engineering or Equivelant
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience within the similar industry
  • Candidate from Automotive or transport related sector would be an added advantage
