Roles & Responsibilities

Job Scope

Project Execution and Management:

  • Oversee project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
  • Monitor and track project milestones, deliverables, and overall progress.
  • Submit project deliverables while ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Problem Resolution and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with project personnel to identify and resolve issues.
  • Communicate directly with customers to assess current or future needs and priorities through surveys or other methods.

Planning and Modifications:

  • Initiate, review, or approve changes to project plans.
  • Develop or update project plans for IT projects, including objectives, technologies, systems specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing.

Meetings and Coordination:

  • Schedule and facilitate meetings related to IT projects.
  • Direct or coordinate activities of project personnel.

Implementation and Risk Management:

  • Develop implementation plans, including cost-benefit analyses or ROI assessments.
  • Perform risk assessments to formulate response strategies.

Resource Management:

  • Identify requirements for initial or supplemental project resources.
  • Recruit or select project personnel while defining roles, responsibilities, and authority spans.

Budgeting:

  • Develop and manage annual budgets for IT projects.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor team performance, providing feedback and documenting outcomes.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Prepare detailed reports by collecting and analyzing data to summarize trends.
  • Identify, review, or select vendors/consultants to meet project needs.

Communitcation Strategy:

  • Establish and execute a comprehensive project communication plan.

Work Breakdown Structure (WBS):

  • Develop and manage WBS for IT projects.

Negotiations:

  • Negotiate with stakeholders or suppliers to secure necessary resources or materials.

Position Requirements:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's Degree with Honors in Computer Science or a related field.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in managing IT projects and digital product development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing, maintaining, and implementing digital platforms, products, and services.

Project Management Skills:

  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of IT projects throughout their lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
  • Skilled in developing project plans, including objectives, technologies, system specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing.
  • Experienced in performing risk assessments and formulating response strategies to mitigate project risks.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

  • Exceptional ability to communicate project parameters effectively to internal team members, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Skilled in negotiating with stakeholders or suppliers to secure resources or materials for projects.
  • Adept at engaging with customers to assess current and future needs through surveys or other communication methods.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams by defining roles, responsibilities, and spans of authority.
  • Capable of monitoring team performance, providing constructive feedback, and documenting outcomes.

Technical Expertise:

  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest developments in digital platforms, technologies, products, and services.
  • Proficient in developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for IT projects.

Customer-Centric Approach:

  • Customer-driven with a focus on delivering user-centered processes and products that meet client expectations.

Budgeting and Resource Management:

  • Competent in developing and managing annual budgets for IT projects.
  • Skilled at identifying resource requirements for initial or supplemental project needs.

Analytical and Reporting Skills:

  • Experienced in preparing detailed reports by collecting and analyzing data to summarize trends and project outcomes.
