The Role

The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the adoption and utilization of our Retail Analytics platform. The key responsibilities are as below:

  • Data Validation
  • Perform regular data validation to ensure alignment between the platform data and our internal data
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate data accuracy and platform functionality before new module launch
  • Platform Adoption, Support, and Category Management
  • Assist in driving the adoption of the Retail Analytics platform within retail banners
  • Support supervisor to provide training sessions and share best practices to ensure effective utilization of the platform
  • Collaborate with banner teams to understand their specific needs and provide tailored support using self-service tools and ad hoc analysis
  • Leverage customer data to drive commercial and operational decision-making in the areas of category management, including range planning, pricing, and promotion planning
  • Feedback Collection and Platform Enhancement
  • Act as a liaison between the retail banners and the development team, capturing feedback on platform capabilities, performance, and usability
  • Document enhancement requirements based on user feedback to drive continuous improvement of the platform
  • Ad-hoc Analytical Support
  • Offer ad-hoc analytical support to retail banner teams, addressing business questions that fall outside the scope of the Retail Analytics platform
  • Utilize various analytical techniques and tools to provide actionable insights and recommendations

About You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Quantitative Analysis, Data Science, and/or any relevant field
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Knowledge and/or experience in statistical customer analysis in FMCG is a plus
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively train and support retail banner teams
  • Familiar with self-service analytics tools and advanced analytics techniques
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
