Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer / Technical Lead to drive the technical evolution of our solutions. The ideal candidate will lead in technology decisions, contribute to high-quality software development, and ensure operational excellence. This role requires expertise in Java, modern frameworks, cloud technologies, and a strong ability to analyze and optimize complex applications.

Key Responsibilities:Build & Change Management:
  • Lead the design and architectural evolution of applications and platforms.
  • Develop high-quality, fully tested source code that meets deadlines and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to clarify and understand requirements.
  • Oversee deployment and change management of solutions.
  • Define test strategies in coordination with Project Managers and Business Analysts.
  • Provide technical support during user acceptance testing.
Incident & Request Management:
  • Effectively communicate with business users and IT teams.
  • Analyze and address enhancement requests and bug fixes.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all software deliveries.
  • Provide production support by analyzing and resolving issues, while proposing optimizations.
  • Monitor software solutions to ensure performance and quality compliance.
Change Management:
  • Implement monthly release strategies, following established milestones.
  • Support production release roadmaps and ensure seamless deployments.
Operations Management:
  • Serve as Level 3 expert for application support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Upgrade technology, tools, and infrastructure to enhance efficiency.
  • Automate manual tasks for improved productivity.
  • Enhance delivery efficiency and overall software quality.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 8+ years of software development experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java development.
  • Strong knowledge of SOLID principles, unit testing, and integration testing.
  • Advanced expertise in Java and Spring Boot framework.
  • Proficient in RESTful API development with Swagger and OpenAPI.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud Fundamentals (Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, S3, Redshift).
  • Hands-on experience with Java OpenTelemetry and ElasticSearch for observability.
  • Front-end development expertise in Angular or React.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and database management.
  • Experience with Maven, Git, GitLab, and JIRA.
  • Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis.
  • Strong debugging and code analysis skills, even without access to a debugger.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Apache Kafka, Spark, and Iceberg.
  • Exposure to DevOps culture and CI/CD pipelines.
