About the Role:
AMGD Superfood Restaurant is looking for a dedicated and hands-on Restaurant & Food Safety Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations while ensuring the highest standards of food hygiene and safety in line with SFA regulations. You will lead the front-of-house team, work closely with kitchen and delivery operations, and play a critical role in delivering our mission: to make healthy eating accessible, effortless, and inclusive.

This is a unique opportunity to work in Singapore's first inclusive halal, healthy food restaurant located in the Enabling Village, where we also champion employment for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs).

Key Responsibilities:

Restaurant Operations

  • Manage day-to-day restaurant activities including dine-in, takeaway, and delivery service.
  • Lead and train front-of-house staff to ensure exceptional customer service
  • Coordinate with kitchen and logistics teams to ensure seamless food preparation and delivery
  • Monitor inventory levels, handle ordering, and manage supplier relationships
  • Support marketing activities and seasonal promotions
  • Respond to customer feedback and resolve service-related issues
  • Ensure smooth service and a welcoming environment for all, including PwDs and their families

Food Safety & Compliance

  • Oversee food hygiene and safety standards based on SFA and HACCP guidelines
  • Ensure all health and hygiene practices are consistently followed
  • Maintain and update SOPs for kitchen hygiene, storage, and food handling
  • Conduct regular food safety audits and inspections
  • Liaise with pest control and cleaning vendors
  • Prepare documentation for food safety audits and ensure readiness for inspections
  • Conduct food safety briefings and trainings for kitchen and service crew

Requirements:

  • Food Safety Course Level 3
  • At least 2 years of experience in food safety or F&B quality control
  • Familiarity with SFA, HACCP, ISO standards, and restaurant operations
  • Meticulous, responsible, and strong in documentation
  • Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
  • Passionate about health-first dining, inclusivity, and service excellence
  • Comfortable working weekends and public holidays as needed
